Job Summary of Federal Income Tax Accountant:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Federal Income Tax Accountant:

• Assist with the preparation of Federal Income Tax Returns.
• Assist with calculations of estimated tax payments.
• Support tax audits and various controversy matters.
• Assist with calculations for quarterly and year-end tax provision.
• Partner with outside tax consultants on various projects.
• Collaborate with accounting, legal, and other tax department persoel to accomplish assigned objectives.

Qualifications and Experience of Federal Income Tax Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate tax compliance within public accounting or a multinational corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of Longview, CorpTax, and Alteryx is preferred; advanced knowledge of Excel and building complex models is required.
• Exposure to, or willingness to learn about OneStream, Orbit Analytics, or similar applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fluid atmosphere, handle multiple projects, and reset priorities.

Salary:

Compensation: $63,150.00 / Year - $90,000.00 / Year.
